Sharing few of the things that might help your Homeschooling function smoothly with toddlers. Nothing fancy but all the regular things that are there around us or can be easily sourced.
Sharing most of things that we personally have and are super useful to keep my toddler engage and learning at the same time.
Top 5 Essentials for Homeschooling:-
1. Stationery – Try and Stock on Stickers, Pom-Poms, Ribbons, Popsicle sticks, Trays, Washi Tapes, Laces, Straws, Googly Eyes, Buttons, Cleaning Pipes, Zips, Craft papers, Cardboard boxes, cotton buds etc.
2. Art Supplies – Finger/Normal Crayons, Paints, drawing book, sketch pens, water pens, Chalks, Fevicol, Stamps, sponge brushes, Cottons, Tissues, Glue sticks, Washable paint mat (or old table mat), Colouring sheets etc.
3. Books – Keep organising your books as per your toddler’s interest & also as per topics you want to introduce. Board books, Picture books, Pop-up books, Lift the Flap books, Story books, Sticker Books etc.
4. Toys – Blocks, Stacker, Pretend Play sets, open ended toys, Cars, Balls, Animal Figurines, Artificial Grass, Shells, Pebbles, Rings, Sticks, Sand Toys, Play – doh, Activity boxes, Puzzles, Shapes Sorter, magnetic board with Alphabets & Numbers, musical toys etc.
5. Learning Binder – This basically helps them sit and concentrate on certain activity or learning a topic with placing or showing things on it when asked. You can print sheets as per your child’s learning interest and put them in plastic sheets and file them to re-use. This works best with toddlers and lot of new things can be learnt by this way.
